Not sure what a GALA Dinner is?
Think of it as a fancy black-tie dinner in celebration before the big CONECTA Expo. A night to relax, enjoy amazing food, dance, take photos, and celebrate our community together!
This isn't just a dinner, it's the opening party for the Expo and a way to honor the entrepreneurs and hard-working professionals who make the Lowcountry thrive.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to wear a tuxedo or gown?
No tuxedo required! Simply dress nicely in black and/or white attire. Cocktail dresses, blazers, dress shirts, and elegant outfits are all perfect for the evening.
Do I have to own a business to attend?
Not at all! The GALA is open to everyone in the community.
What does my $65 cover?
Your ticket covers a appetizers, catered dinner, dessert, live DJ and music, dancing, raffles with prizes (must be present at time of raffle to win), and professional photos available afterward on our website and/or facebook page. All in an elegant atmosphere.
Will alcohol be available?
Yes. A bar will be available, with alcoholic beverages available for purchase. ID will be required.
Is there a age limit to attend?
This is a family-friendly event, and everyone is welcome. Please note that alcohol will be available for purchase, and IDs will be checked. The event is designed for young adults and adults, but families are welcome to join the celebration.
Is this event only for hispanics/latinos?
No, everyone is welcome! The GALA is about celebrating diversity and community, and we invite all backgrounds to attend.
What time is dinner?
Doors open at 6:00 PM. Dinner will be served from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM, and the evening will continue until 11:59 PM with music, dancing, and celebration.
I am traveling from out of town, where can I stay?
Guests who purchase tickets will receive access to a special discounted room rate at the Palmera Inn, where the GALA is being held. Please contact us after purchasing your tickets to receive the booking link.
