Spanish Classes - Basic Conversational Spanish I (Monday & Thursday)

Monday from 5:40 to 7:00 - Day 1   (In Person)

Thursday from 7:00 to 8:00 - Day 2   (Online and Site Visits)

Our Spanish language classes are robust and range from beginner to conversational; no matter where you are in your Spanish journey, there's a language class for you here!

The Hispanic Business Association of the Lowcountry teaches Spanish classes through a fun and interactive approach and utilizes its own custom designed curriculum that focuses on three main skills that are crucial when learning a second language: 

1. Listening

2. Speaking

3. Reading

All classes use a conversational approach to language learning. With our group in person classes, you will be surrounded by other students also learning Spanish. Only Spanish is used during classes, so there is non-stop interaction and conversations happening. 

This interactive approach can significantly increase retention and the speed with which you can learn. You will begin learning new words and phrases immediately. As other students are also learning, the conversations will benefit the entire class. It will give you multiples perspectives and the repetition helps you to remember what you are learning.

This is a 10 week course (Monday and Thursday) which includes: 

10 Inperson classes (Day 1 of the week)

5 Online Zoom classes (Day 2 of the week - From your Home)

2 Interactive  (Day 2 of the week - From your Home)

3 Onsite practical training (Day 2 of the week - Visit Restaurants and Groceries Stores)
